| '90 Gardenia Cucci has joined Oak Hill as associate general counsel. She was previously with Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where she served as an associate in the Aviation Industry practice. A member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars, she lives in Manhattan with her husband, Christopher Galiardo, and their two children. • Michelle Glemser Downey and her husband, J. Joseph, announce the birth of their son John Joseph, on Jan. 26. They live in County Cork, Ireland. |

'92 Jenn Vandrilla Culbertson reports: “My husband, Dave, and I just returned from St. Petersburg, Russia, where we adopted our son. His name is Robert Jacob Kirill Culbertson, or RJ for short. He will be 2 years old in May, and he is a happy, healthy little boy. We are thrilled to have him home with us! After my maternity leave, I will be returning to my job as senior manager of clinical research at OSI Pharmaceuticals, where I work on oncology clinical trials.” • Michael Heyman writes: “I recently got back from a book tour in India for The Tenth Rasa: An Anthology of Indian Nonsense (Penguin, 2007), of which I am the head editor.” You can check out his blog that details his travels and his book at http://tenthrasa.blogspot.com. • Lisa Christopher-Stine, M.D., M.P.H., was recently named the co-director of the newly established Johns Hopkins Myositis Center. After completing her fellowship in rheumatology in 2003 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, she joined the Hopkins faculty where she is currently assistant professor of medicine. In March, she gained national media attention when she was interviewed in the New York Times and on Good Morning America for her work in diagnosing and treating patients with the autoimmune forms of myositis, a group of muscle diseases that may cause muscle weakness, skin rash, and lung inflammation. She and husband, Peter, live in Baltimore with their 20-month-old son Anson. • David Tornatore and his wife, Tami, welcomed triplets in January. Benjamin, Victoria, and Ashley join big brother, Justin. The family lives in Pittsburgh. |

'93 Matthew Lipp, M.D., reports in from Millburn, N.J. where he and his wife, Stacey, welcomed their daughter, Sydney Ilyse, who joins big brother, Spencer, 4. Matthew is a physician who is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management. He is practicing interventional pain management at the N.J. Spine Center in Chatham, N.J. • In January, Mike Piecuch was appointed chief of staff by Pennsylvania’s new Speaker of the House, Dennis O’Brien. |

Kara is the marketing manager for Emerson Hospital in Concord, Mass., and Mark is a senior systems analyst with GE in Billerica. • Scott Drowne and his wife, Jill Townsend Drowne ’01, welcomed their first son, Brendan Michael, on Jan. 23. They live in Chandler, Ariz. • From Richmond, Va., Gregory Sheldon, Esq., writes: “In September, I became a principal in Bain Sheldon PLC. '97 From Conshohocken, Pa., Brian Bishop writes: “I married Susan Van Stone in Philadelphia on Nov. 18, 2006. Susan is director of business development for Charming Shoppes Inc., and I am general counsel for Frankford Holdings Inc., which is a group of candy food companies and real estate entities.” • Stephanie Millhouse David and Eric David ’98 are living in the Philadelphia area. Eric was recently promoted to the role of vice president of derivatives clearing for BNP Paribas. Stephanie also assumed a new role as senior level sales supervisor for national builder initiatives with Lutron Lighting Control. They have two daughters, Lauren (5) and Karina (4), and a son, William (8 months). • In February, William Davis of Parkesburg, Pa., left for Uganda to provide technical assistance to AIDS outreach organizations as a Peace Corps crisis corps volunteer. He will work with Bugiri Network of AIDS Service Organizations and focus on improving the organizational, technical, and financial capacity to better manage the quality services provided for people affected by HIV/AIDS. He previously served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania from 2002 to 2004, where he taught chemistry at a magnet school for gifted students and also worked with a local publishing company to write a chemistry textbook for high school students. • Beth Gellman-Beer recently joined the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights, as a staff attorney. She currently resides in Elkins Park, Pa., with her husband and daughter, Alexandra, who was born on Sept. 24, 2005. |

| '98 Ken Belva reports he was listed as the 8th most influential person in IT security for 2007 by IT Security magazine. He also recently moderated a panel discussion at the United Nations. Ken manages an information technology risk management program for a bank whose assets are in the billions of dollars. He reports directly to the senior vice president and deputy general manager. He is currently on the board of directors for the New York Metro chapter of the Information Systems Security Association as the chair of the public relations committee. He blogs about exploit code, technical work arounds, security breaches, and virtual trust. • Audra Plewak ’99 and Ben Plewak welcomed a son, Griffin, on Nov. 18, 2006. Audra writes: “He is happy and healthy and we are enjoying being parents.” |
