Herman Slotoroff reports that his 14th Annual By Pass Open Tennis Tournament was held in May in Armonk, N.Y. Players in this round-robin event enlist family and friends to sponsor them by making contributions to the American Heart Association. The purpose of the tournament is to encourage exercise and demonstrate that heart disease and heart surgery patients can live active leads and promote awareness of a healthy diet.
